About The MAC

Holy Cross MAC was formed in September 2019 when 5 catholic primary and 2 catholic secondary schools in Coventry joined together. The Holy Cross Catholic MAC has over 4,000 pupils and employs over 450 staff across our seven schools – all of which are very popular and highly successful.

John Teahan

I am delighted to welcome you to the website that is being continually developed as the Holy Cross Catholic Multi Academy Company develops. Currently, we are a group of two secondary and five primary Catholic schools within Coventry, working together as a family of schools.

Our mission is “Our school communities are united as the family of God to provide an outstanding Catholic education for all our pupils. With Christ at the centre of all we do, we will inspire every child to be the best person they can be by developing their God given gifts and talents.”

As Directors our role is to oversee the catholic vision, leadership and performance of our schools whilst developing partnerships between them. We actively encourage the individuality within the schools and want to develop staff and systems to achieve outstanding education.

We are committed to ensuring that, by working in partnership, we offer a safe Catholic learning experience for all our students, where they can learn and develop their God given talents so as to achieve their full potential.

Marina KellyI am delighted to introduce myself as the Catholic Senior Executive Leader for the Holy Cross Catholic MAC.

I started my teaching career as a Mathematics teacher at St Pauls Girls’ School in Birmingham and, following deputy headships at Henley High School and St Thomas Aquinas Catholic School, I felt honoured and privileged to be appointed Headteacher at Cardinal Newman.
